As an internationally sought-after tap percussionist/producer, Sandra is known for her unique approach to tap as a music instrument.

Sandra writes, records, and performs her own original music in which tap is the exclusive percussive instrument.

She deconstructs the classic tap vocabulary in order to be a full member of the rhythm section, rather than just a special effect.

Besides her refined process of recording taps, she also uses homemade tap sample kits.

She has built her very own approach to producing and mixing tap percussion-based music and continues to explore ever-new frameworks for this unique instrument.
